Hosts, Bas & Kate
Dear guests, first of all welcome! We are Bas and Kate and offer a great holiday home right at the water, next to our own house. Cozy, rustic, artistic and fully equipped. We also offer a nice boat for rent, next to this holidayhome! We always have a holiday feeling sitting on our jetty watching the waterfowl like ducks and swans and boats sailing by. We’re sure you will have the same experience too! We are very familiar with hospitality because of our profession in events, entertainment and medation. In addition, Bas is a good chef, so if you want to BBQ and / or have dinner ‘at home’ in the garden or on your private jetty, we can of course take care of that. Dietary requirements fine, but vegan is going to be difficult for this Burgundian chef … We hope to welcome you soon!

Liebe Gäste, herzlich willkommen! Wir sind Bas und Kate und bieten ein tolles Ferienhaus direkt am Wasser neben unserem eigenen Haus. Gemütlich, rustikal, künstlerisch und complet ausgestattet. Wir vermieten auch ein Boot, das direkt neben dem Haus im Wasser liegt. Wir haben immer ein Urlaubsgefühl, wenn wir auf unserem Dock sitzen und die Wasservögel wie Enten, Schwäne und Boote vorbeifahren. Wir sind sicher, dass Sie die gleiche Erfahrung machen werden! Wir sind mit Gastfreundschaft aufgrund unseres Berufs in den Bereichen Veranstaltungen, Unterhaltung und Mediation sehr vertraut. Darüber hinaus ist Bas ein guter Koch. Wenn Sie also im Garten oder auf Ihrem privaten Steg „zu Hause“ grillen und / oder zu Abend essen möchten, können wir uns natürlich darum kümmern. Ernährungsbedürfnisse sind möglich, aber vegan wird für diesen burgundischen Koch schwierig … Wir hoffen, Sie bald begrüßen zu dürfen!

How to get here
By car, plain, train, bus, and boat….
By car from direction Utrecht
- Use google maps in your phone to get here
or - From Utrecht follow direction Amsterdam on the A2.
- Follow Schiphol on the A9
- Follow Schiphhol on the A4
- After the Schiphol tunnel take exit Hoofddorp / Aalsmeer.
- Keep right to Hoofddorp / Heemstede (Ring Hoofddorp N201).
- At the first traffic lights turn right towards Aalsmeer-Centrum (N196). Follow this road for about 5 km.
- Once you are over the bridge (Ringvaart Haarlemmermeer), take the first traffic lights to the right (Van Cleeffkade).
- After about 400 meters you go straight on (do not follow the bend to the left) onto the Uiterweg, a dead-end street.
- After 2 km the house is on your right
- Park your car for free on our private place on the red gravel
By car from direction Amsterdam

From Schiphol Airport
- Take an official taxi to our house. It’s just a 10 minutes drive and about € 25,- to €30,-
- Or take the bus (342) to Aalsmeer which goes every 10-15 minutes. Stop at Busstation Dorpsstraat and walk 50 meters to the Dorpsstraat where someone can pick you up by car (3km to our house)
- Or take the train from Schiphol to Hoofddorp and let someone pick you up. (much easier than Schiphol where you can’t park!)
By train

From Amsterdam Central Station it’s best to take the train to Hoofddorp Station. It’s easier to pick someone up in Hoofddorp station because of the parking possibilities.
- Or take the bus (340) from Hoofddorp to Aalsmeer busstop Dorpsstraat. The house is about 3 km away, so it’s a long walk! Or somebody must pick you up at busstation Dorpsstraat.
